This is obviously a very disappointing result, especially losing to the Tories. We need to work out why we did not do better and see what we need to do to turn things round.

In the meantime, congratulations and thanks to everyone who worked on the campaign, and especially to the candidate Hafiz Choudhury and his agent Councillor Abdul Munim.
