Saturday 3rd July 1- 4 pm Bennetts Bar Bennetts Hill Birmingham City Centre Respect members and supporters who are members of the National Union of Teachers are invited to attend a meeting in Birmingham on Saturday 3rd July to discuss a range of issues.Agenda - The new Tory policy on Free Schools/Academies - Richard Hatcher
- Report on the Nottingham Campaign Teacher Conference 26.6.10. Stuart Richardson
- The situation in the NUT/ Resolutions for next years NUT Conference
- The Socialist Teachers Alliance - the debate on national industrial action on the new Academies and other issues
- Campaigns on Green issues
- A Respect meeting in September/October for all Respect members campaigning on educational issues
- Future meetings of Respect NUT members
This is a suggested agenda, comrades should email me with amendments to the agenda if they have alternatives. I am only acting on a provisional basis and the meeting should elect a comrade to convene future meetings.
